OCT Images of Angle-Closure Glaucoma
A high definition OCT image of a very narrow anterior chamber angle. This patient is predisposed to both acute and chronic angle closure glaucoma.
A wide-angle OCT image of a narrow anterior chamber angle prior to cataract surgery.
Same patient as the middle image, after cataract surgery. Removal of the cataract has eliminated the physical cause of the narrowing of the angle, and is effectively curative of angle-closure glaucoma.
